I honestly cannot believe that it’s already July. HOW?! The good thing about the midway point of the year is that it is like a mini New Years for me, a fresh slate to start anew. So checking in on progress is incredibly important. I’ve […]
The year 2019 has thus far been the Year of the Slump for me, so I thought it would be ironic and fun to do the Currently Reading Book Tag! The lovely Kelly @ Another Book in the Wall tagged me in this one back in September, and now felt like the perfect time to discuss my reading habits & struggles a bit. If you aren’t already following Kelly please be sure to check out her blog and rectify that immediately: she is incredibly kind and her blog is so aesthetically pleasing!
I am not sure who created this tag; please let me know if you do so I can add credit to the post.
Happy Sunday, friends! I am currently laying in bed and ignoring the world (and my mountain of laundry that needs to be washed prior to work tomorrow), and what better way to ignore responsibilities than with a good tag!?!
The Good Reading Habits tag was created by Ally @ Ally Writes Things back in December, and I am so glad she did because I honestly don’t focus on the good habits that I have nearly enough. I was tagged by both Ally and Consu @ Paper Eyed Girl; thank you both for tagging me and if you don’t already follow their blogs be sure to check them out!
One of my favorite “getting to know you” kind of games is Two Truths and a Lie; it is the far superior icebreaker games out there because you not only get to learn some fun new things about people but you also get to see how creative they can be! Who wants to answer twenty boring questions or participate in awkward freefalling activities when you can play this game?! No one, I tell you!
This tag idea has been sitting in my drafts since August when I read The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager. I thought it would be fun to start a bookish tag version of the game, so let’s get started with the lies!
What do you do when the post you had planned for today is taking a lot longer to put together than originally anticipated? Tweak the schedule, of course! My friend Jamsu @ Jamsudreams tagged me in the genre tag last week and what perfect timing that was for me. If you aren’t already following Jamsu, I recommend checking out her blog – she writes great and succinct reviews and reads a lot of fantasy/paranormal romance, and is lovely!
I am not sure who created this tag originally so I cannot provide credit, but this is one where you answer the questions provided about your favorite genre. Perfect for Sci-fi Month! Let’s get into it…
