Here are 20 Anticipated Reads for March 2019 // Don’t send your TBRs after me

Spring is in sight, and March releases are just around the corner! I know that much of the world is blanketed in snow, but where I live in California has been oscillating between sunny and rainy days – and the trees & flowers are all confused. 🥀🌼🥀🌼

ANYWAYS! This post is about books, not the hot/cold weather patterns of Northern California. And friends, us book lovers and bibliophiles are in for a treat this March! My actual anticipated tag on Edelweiss for March has twenty-one (21!!!) books on it. So, uh, I apologize right now to your TBRs because I was only able to weed out a couple.

January 2019 Book Haul // the month I kind of behaved

Friends I am so incredibly proud of myself – I only bought five books in January, and two of them were the same book! This is such a drastic improvement over my going completely overboard last year, and I am pleased that the majority of my haul was on sale.

You’ll notice that my haul post is in a slightly different format this month. I wanted to play around with it a bit and include the summaries from Goodreads rather than just listing everything. I also included ARC approvals so you can see what I have coming up, as well as the books that I told my local library they should buy. I recently started using my local library a bit more and have made it my personal mission to get more amazing and diverse reads into the collection!

As always, I want to reiterate that you do not need to buy and own a lot of books in order to be considered a book blogger or lover. I am quite frugal with everything else so that I can buy books because I love them, but I do not ever want to make you feel bad if you cannot afford to buy books or have poor access where you live.

14 Anticipated Reads for February 2019 // RIP My Wallet

Friends, it was so hard for me to even narrow this post down to 15 releases and I think that February 5th will bankrupt me. So much for all that savings in January, eh?

There are so many books that I am excited to read eventually, and each of the fifteen listed in this post have earned a spot on my monstrous TBR. I know it might take me a century to get through everything, but I certainly want to try!

Announcing the Reader Voracious Novel19 Class!

Welcome to the inaugural year for a new feature here on the blog dedicated to debut authors! This year I wanted to do something to help boost new author voices and stories, and this project evolved from a few interview requests that came from Vicky @ Vicky Who Reads initiative to connect authors interested in working with book bloggers.

This originally was going to be a few author interview features on the blog, but me being as Extra as I am of course it grew into something bigger: the Novel19 Class, six amazing novels by female debut authors that I am going to scream about throughout the year! This post is announcing the Novel19 Class and sharing the book synopses with you all, and as we get closer to publication there will also be interviews with the authors as well as honest reviews (pending ARC availability). I am so excited to introduce you to the Novel19 Class, so without further adieu…
